Yurie Kiri One day I met someone and we hit it off like old friends even though we'd never met before. We exchanged contact information and promised to meet up again as soon a our busy schedules allowed. However that next meeting never happened, we never met up again and their contact information turned out to be false or disconnected. Occasionally I thought I saw them out of the corner of my eye or hiding in the background but those sightings turned out to be false or were they? What happened? Was it all fake or a false encounter for some devious purpose? What was the reason?
Yurie Kiri Mother takes care of selfish, older children in their 30s… people who are fully capable of doing everything for themselves but just sit back and let their overworked mom do it for them. Yurie Kiri Moonlight Rocks was inspired by a star viewing, meteor shower viewing trip in the desert spot east of LA where the story takes place. Plus I've listened to so many stories about gods and demons coming down for a visit from above... all of that comes together in Moonlight Rocks
Yurie Kiri A book with the working title of the Meteor

The desert east of Los Angeles has always been a little bit dangerous and not just because of the people who live out there. Sure there are drug gangs and meth labs but there are also a lot of more or less natural dangers too such as abandoned mines and broken down ranches with fringe people living in them. However, along with those dangers are a lot of natural rocky beauty and clear dark skies which attract amateur star gazers and campers. One night a group of friends set up camp in that desert to watch the Leonid meteor shower. However they aren’t the only people hoping to catch a falling star and when one does crash to earth nearby, the first person to get that meteorite becomes the target in a very deadly chase. When the campers die and a woman disappears not only do the local police get involved but so does a group of Satan worshipers and other religious fanatics who feel that the meteor heralds the birth of a new messiah.
