I'm working on the second book in the Tween Sea & Shore Series that will continue the story of Abraham and Yvette and the other commanders of la Renommée. It is tentatively named The Renowned Captain—it will likely change.

Inspiration comes in different forms; sometimes to express deeper feelings, at times to air beliefs, and often just to entertain. My current book, The Ship's Carpenter, was inspired by the historical research I did on a French frigate from the mid-1700s and the very interesting connections I discovered between those involved with the ship. Their story begged to be told.
