Well, to be honest, most of the books I read I wouldn't want to be in that reality.
The grimdark 40k series where everything is at war or being eaten.
The World of Warcraft's lore is quite destructive and chaotic.
So I'd love to go to Ankh-Morpork and just do what I do here there writing stories for the citizens or make a documentary Bloody Stupid Johnson and his creations.

Noble and Fabled is actually a book I wrote back in high school, originally it was called View from a Window.
I adapted it changing the setting and the people.
And taking some inspiration from a certain scene in Michael Crichton's The Lost World.

Set yourself a target amount of words everyday like two hundred.
Enjoy the book you're writing.
Experiment your ideas for future books and see which one pops into your mind.
Don't focus all of yourself into one book.
And start small building up from there.
