Beyond Calamity is the story of my life journey, contracting polio at 4 years of age and surviving that, growing up in refugee camps in Uganda, and growing up and overcoming challenges I experienced in the South Sudanese Community as a girl and as a woman with a disability. It also details the challenges I experience on a daily basis as a woman and as a single mother with a disability. I wanted to share my story with the world to inspire, encourage and motivate others that’s why I wrote and published my first book Beyond Calamity.
