Brian Goslee The best part of being a published author is knowing that what God put inside me to write and share with others to help them is "out there" forever. Regardless of how successful it is in the short term, it is published and available forever to whomever might need it. I don't have to wonder, "What if I had written my book?" It is out there in the world!
Brian Goslee My advice for aspiring writers is:
1. Just start. Don't try to come up with the perfect idea or the perfect time to write.
2. Share your writing with others and get honest feedback..early on. (Don't worry, people you share with aren't interested in "stealing" your idea. Pick wisely, and you will find people just want to help you)
3. Partner with a great program that helps you with publishing and marketing but let's you keep your own royalties. I would be glad to share the one I used if you contact me at brian@ctfaith.com.
Brian Goslee I became inspired to write when I was an adult student four years ago in my church's discipleship school program. As I wrote answers to my introspective faith growth assignments, I discovered I really enjoyed discovering where God had brought me and the many things He taught me. I thought that perhaps the things I was learning could be shared to help others in their lives and spiritual growth. After sharing initially with some friends, it grew into a blog, and eventually a book that I published in 2019.
