Schedule in time to write. We're all busy, but the funny thing about being a writer is that you actually have to (ahem) write! So, make your writing a priority. I struggled with this for decades, but you have to start somewhere. So, whether it's a two-hour block you set aside before or after your 9-to-5, a word goal, or just simply the desire to get something, anything down on paper or on your computer screen ... Forget about past mistakes or distractions and start afresh. Today is a new day, full of plenty of opportunities to write whenever and wherever you are.
