As you can tell I am a huge J.R. Ward fan so I would go hang with the Brothers in the Brotherhood Series. I would go into that world because I love the thought of vampires being real. I would want to meet the Brothers adopting each of them as my family. Meet the Bastards and hang out with them. And watch a little Golden Girls with Lassiter, maybe pull a couple pranks with him.

So my summer reading list was a lot of J.R. Ward. I finished The Savior, Blood Truth, and the first two of the Fallen Angel Series (Covet and Crave). I also read Lay it Bare with a Friend Request by L.E. Martin. Along with an ARC called Her Best Friends Brother by MB Feeney. I am about to start Bound to a Vampire by Grey Francis.

Living with so many personalities in my head, all the time is the best part. You never know when one of them is going to say "Here is a scene for this book." or "This is how book 3 starts." Its always an adventure.

I am currently editing Bad Karma which is the second book to The Hellborn Series, along with working on book three. I bounce back and forth on a daily basis, working on both. Soon enough I will be starting the first draft to book four.

The inspiration to start writing came because I felt like life was passing me by. I had little for myself and I had been dedicating every inch of my life to my kids. I needed something for me so I made a decision to do it. Now it is more of a compulsion. I have this need to write and be on my computer everyday. I make it happen no matter what is happening around me. I don't let anything stop me from writing or get in my way because this is who I am. I am a writer.

Bad Witch Walking was developed when Savannah came to me. I had taken a long break from writing mostly because life had gotten in the way. I decided one day I wanted to start writing again. I had chosen a writing prompt from online just to get my feet wet. It was the first writing prompt I had done in a couple of years. Savannah made her appearance as I started writing. As soon as she made her presence known in my head I knew her story. The rest of the characters came slowly introducing themselves. It was as if she had been there the entire time waiting for me to start writing again.
