I used to write fanfictions for a CW show called The Flash. These really helped to cultivate my storytelling abilities. But then I had an idea for one of my fanfictions that had enough merit to be its own original story, so I literally just ran with it. I “pantsed” my way through Hope and wrote the story that I wanted to read. It only took me a few months to write that along with the rough drafts of the two follow up stories, Descendants and Cataclysm, because I was entirely mesmerised by this new world and the characters that I had created.
