Don't give up.
I'm just starting out, but the biggest hurdle I've had to face is discouragement. Frustration with my own weaknesses as a writer, self-doubt, and harsh critiques from beta readers have all tempted me to give up. I'm so glad I didn't.

I have several projects going on right now. I'm working on a short story for my blog that tells Miranda and William's love story. It's a definite challenge, since theirs is an arranged marriage, but not to worry, love can be found in even the most unlikely of situations.
I have Book 2, Matthew and Alice's story, drafted and ready for revisions. Still working on a title, but I'm excited to share it with you soon!
And if that's not enough, I've written a few chapters of Book 3, which will be a prequel to Hearts Unshackled. Building on the Prologue, it tells how Felix and Ameline depend on their love to survive their brush with slavery.
