J.G. Johnson When night came, the Dark crept in and it called her name, "Kristy, come join us in the Dance of the Moon." Her spirit rose but her chest never did again.
J.G. Johnson This may be a bit conceited sounding, but I think I would want to go to the world of the book I am writing now, Cloud Dancer. In this world of sky islands, magic is there for everyone. The world is huge and vast and I think I would want to explore it and the many histories of the different regions as a Tinkerer.
J.G. Johnson Lets see here, Monster Hunter Guardian by Larry Correia, Dragon's Cage by Daniel Potter, Small Favor by Jim Butcher, and I'm always looking for a few more.
J.G. Johnson The first three books in the Account of the Change series plus life. The characters demanding to be heard. They are pushy like that.
J.G. Johnson A better question is, how don't I get inspired to write? Inspiration is everywhere and in everything. There is even inspiration in sadness and depression. Saying that you lake inspiration is the same as saying that you lack life. You may not be getting the inspiration for what you are currently working on, but that doesn't mean that you are lacking inspiration.
J.G. Johnson From the Ashes. Book for in my Account of the Change series. I'm also tinkering with a cyber SF and a few other plots.
J.G. Johnson Write. I know that that sounds trite, but, honestly, that is where it all starts. I have reams of folders and hundreds of megabytes of stories and writings that will never see the light of day let alone be published, but all of that is there supporting me now. So, write.
J.G. Johnson I get to see a new world first.
J.G. Johnson I get a cup of coffee. Sometimes I take a shower. Do a little journaling. If nothing else works, sometimes I just write until something gives. I can edit out bad writing or plot but I can't edit what I haven't written.
