Well, since summer is almost over, I'll just answer what I just finished reading and what I am looking forward to. I just finished Dragon Heart, Iron Will, both book 1 and 2, and Buryoku: Power. I'm really looking forward to Uncrowned, which comes out the 26th.

Read books in your chosen genre and identify what makes them work. Then just write. Realize your first draft will be bad, but it is necessary, and once you've gone through a couple drafts you'll have the diamond in the rough.

I just sent off the second draft of book two in Elemental Gatherers to my beta readers. I sent Azyl Academy to a professional editor since I can afford it with how well it has been selling. I'm working on book one of a new series, this one an urban fantasy, cultivation, gamelit combo tentatively titled Hidden Essence, and the first draft of book three of Elemental Gathering.
