My recently published MILLY AND THE TALE FROM ACROSS THE STREET started out with my basic childhood fascination of an old Victorian house in Duluth, MN. I wondered what secrets it held. I swear I saw ghosts up in the upper floor windows. After I knew the house would be part of my story, I came up with a brand new idea that just came to me in bits and pieces.

It is called "Up North- A Milly Story". It's in the same series as my first book, Milly and the Tale from Across the Street.

Good question, Andy! ;) My best friend from childhood and I invented our own "language" and my name was "Milly". Her's was "Lilly", so you can guess how developed our language really was. Chester sounded like a dignified and smart man. Cora- I just liked the name.

I'd love to go to the setting of my favorite book from childhood, The BFG. It would be a bit dangerous with all those giants around, but I'd have my trusty protector- the BFG himself, of course. I would love to help him come up with awesome dreams for children around the world!
