UGH! The bad word... Writer's Block! There are times I need to walk away... It may be a day or a week. I need to get inspired and refuel... so I close my Mac and go on a date night with my husband, hang out with my best friend or simply ask for ideas. Sometimes, I will go back to reading the novels I put aside. After sometime away, my story calls to me and I read it from the beginning and then I get my mo-jo back!

I get to use my imagination... create a world that belongs to me. Then I get to share it with readers and hope they will fall in love with my characters just like I have! I talk about my characters as if they are real... and they are, to me!

The best advice is to read a lot! Read the same genres and others... not just to be entertained, but to be critical and study the words used by these tenured authors. I read at least 7-8 novels a months plus How To books. Also search out and join FB groups and learn from them all. They ask questions and give suggestions you may not have thought of yet, it's free advice (priceless). I put those answers in my notebook or take a screenshot so I can refer to them later. Find a mentor/coach that is willing to take the time to have one-on-one critique sessions. I found an amazing coach, my editor!

I just finished TILL I FOUND YOU and I'm onto the next one, TILL I TEMPT YOU. This couple is so fun, sexy and sassy. I am also working on a companion novella, YOU FOUND ME, both to be released Spring 2020.

My inspiration comes from my surroundings... I listen to my friends and family because anything they say can be used in my book! My inspiration also comes from books I read, music, movies, TV and I do have a circus in my head!
