Trying to avoid adding anymore ideas to The Diseased as publication is only months away (!) other than that I’m working on the follow up Body Count whilst also world building on the side for a new series that’s going to be more fantasy than sci fi or horror.

Just go for it. Don’t worry that it’s not good enough - it won’t be to begin with, even the greats you admire have to edit and rewrite and you will too. But just get those words down, vomit out the ideas onto the page. The hardest thing to do is to start, but it’s so worth it.

I take a break - as long as I need. I just took pretty much a year off writing after finishing The Diseased. Sometimes the mind just needs to clear and mental health matters more than a word count.
