Hmm... Good question...
I LOVE plotting... I get so excited about a good plotting session... I usually cannot sit still. I'm basically Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh) when this part of the writing process occurs. I bounce around excitedly and spout off ideas and whatifs until I'm satisfied with the crazy story I've made up.
Other things I love about writing...
- Creating something out of nothing
- Making people feel something - joy, fear, sadness, happiness, etc.
- Bringing more LGBTQIA+ characters into the world for a variety of reasons - more representation, more love stories that don't end in tragedy, more peace and happiness (for the reader) in feeling like they can own their truth... ---- Not sure my writing will do that... but one can hope!
Great question! <3

As long as I wasn't stuck there as a muggle - I'd LOVE to visit Hogwarts...
Who wouldn't?

I just finished reading "Finding Me" by Sandy Gilchrist - I definitely recommend it!
I also have on my reading list:
Ascend: Children of Lilith by L. M. Gose
Lately Lesbian by J. D. Simmons
I'm sure there are others, but those are the two books that I'm going to read next.

I love creating something from nothing. It's like painting, but with words.
You figure out what you want as a base (your plot), then you add a few swirls of flavor in there (subplots), you take out your finer paintbrushes and add in details and distinct figures (characters, places, etc.) and then you step back and add any other little bits that you think are necessary to make a better picture. And then you hope - peeking look through parted fingers - to see if anyone else thinks your picture is worth looking at.

Just write... if you feel like you are a writer... go for it.
A poem. A pun. A paragraph. A blog. An article. A story. A book.
Try it - you might like it... you might love it... it can be the best escape from reality and the easiest way to destroy any inner demons you might be holding onto.

Another book similar in style to Breaking Protocol. The main character will not be Alex or Kara, but they'll make an appearance or two!

I go stick my feet in the grass outside my front door - take a few deep breaths and return to my computer. Then I just write.
If it's complete trash, I'll delete it later.
