For Dark Radiance, it came from the song "Angel with a Shotgun" by The Cab. I would listen to this song with my best friend on the way to play practice. These car jam sessions flourished into Liliana's story and created an entire new world for me to dive into!

Music! I am very musically driven, and I find that I write best when a song goes with the scene. I see my writing when I am in the process on a screen, and this allows me to place emotions and songs with the scene I am currently working on.

Book two of Dark Radiance is in the final editing phases! I am currently working on Book 3 and a new project titled Scottish Folklore for right now!

Don't give up, and don't compare yourself to other writers. It's human nature to compare ourselves but if you just step back and realize that you are writing the story, you would have wanted to read or want to read it makes everything seem less daunting.

I would say that being able to travel into a new world or into the mind of my characters. I have always been creating stories in my mind since I was a child, and to be able to share some of those characters with my readers is the most amazing feeling!
