How do you deal with writer’s block?
Warren Baker I write crap. I offer it to the muse. The muse honors my sacrifice.

Warren Baker Don't be afraid to write crap. All firet drafts are crap anyway. Crap is the raw material of literary art.

Warren Baker The working title is "The Goadstones" ans answers some questions left open in the original book'.

How do you get inspired to write?
Warren Baker I don't. I plod, and work, and sweat, and struggle. Then after I have produced a crappy first draft, I get to work crafting a story from the spew of raw material.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Warren Baker The idea was a fusion of an old story about a child murderer and a desire to mythologize my own experience with sleep paralysis. A good friend posited the idea of the dhild murderer being the good guy, and I ran with it.
