Write everyday and don't ever get distracted by good or bad advice, news tv family dogs, aliens or ghosts. Don't try to make sense of the writing just get the story down

I write daily, so on the days that I don't want to write or feel like I'm stuck I use the Graham Greene method, that is write at least 400 words each day, thats 2 or 3 paragraphs and I apply that to editing to. In practice when I need to use this, I end up writing more than the 400 words
