Bizarrely the idea came to me while I was in the shower. I was pondering the state of the planet and wondering why the humans can't be a bit nicer to each other and then the thought popped into my head 'I wonder how the bloke who created the Universe would feel about all this'. That turned into a short story and then, somehow, ended up as a book.
