C.L. Adams Writer's block is my worst nightmare!! It happens to everyone, lol. My way of dealing with it is to just leave the computer, do something else, and then when I feel inspired to write again, I go back to it. I have learned NOT to force writing because you'll end up frustrated. Let the characters speak to you, don't do the speaking for them.
C.L. Adams The best thing about being a writer is that I get to put all of what's going on inside my head, my heart, and my soul onto paper. I get to dump all of that stuff out and actually see it take shape and turn into something that others will hopefully enjoy.
C.L. Adams My best advice for aspiring writers is to just sit down with your computer or pad of paper and just start writing whatever is in your heart. It doesn't even have to make sense yet, just write! Whatever emotions you feel, whatever words come to you, write them down. Then, later, you can go back and put them into place as you'd like them.
C.L. Adams I am currently working on a series of 12 books that will be sold as a set or separately. They cover issues that women deal with on a daily basis, such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, etc.
Men can read them too, but my heart is with women and all they go through.
C.L. Adams That's a tough one...Normally, I have an idea that has been lurking around in my head (lol) for a while and then I sit down and begin putting it all together.
C.L. Adams I felt that God was calling me to write this book because there are so many of us who need to be inspired by the Word of God each day.
