L.L. Lily Most of my inspirations come from everyday life activities and observations. I see ceramics and my mind automatically conjures up possible romantic stories I could write with them. There was also a time when I rode a taxi and found myself thinking of a romance novel featuring a cute taxi driver as a character (because I thought the dude was cute, lol). So just about anything inspires me to write a story, but they all end up as an idea for a potential WIP until I actually get to writing the story itself.
L.L. Lily I don't. I'm always held captive by writer's block. I'm more of a spontaneous writer and so if I have the inspiration to write, I write. If I had to finish a book (much like Undeniable Desire, which I was stump in the middle on how to tie everything together), I outlined all the events that I wanted to be in the book and wrote each chapter (out of order) until something tied each chapter together and moved them wherever necessary. I'm really glad I use scrivener too since I can write separate chapters and simply move scenes/chapters around. The original storyline for Undeniable Desire wasn't always structured that way, but I am happy with how it turned out after moving certain scenes around.
L.L. Lily You can let your fantasies run wild.

L.L. Lily I was fixing laundry and chilling with my earbuds on, went to the storage room to store the laundry baskets and on my way out the door, something tugged on my back ponytail. I was home alone.
L.L. Lily I would go to Alder Island (which is a fictional island I made up in the Coast of Maine), its where all my stories are set in (Rose County Universe)
L.L. Lily Definitely Sophie Kinsella books! I still have to read her Shopaholic series, and then there are other books on my TBR list. Some of them are steamy romance novels I couldn't wait to sink my teeth too (and very fitting too, something hot for a really hot weather lol!)
