Most of my inspirations come from everyday life activities and observations. I see ceramics and my mind automatically conjures up possible romantic stories I could write with them. There was also a time when I rode a taxi and found myself thinking of a romance novel featuring a cute taxi driver as a character (because I thought the dude was cute, lol). So just about anything inspires me to write a story, but they all end up as an idea for a potential WIP until I actually get to writing the story itself.

I don't. I'm always held captive by writer's block. I'm more of a spontaneous writer and so if I have the inspiration to write, I write. If I had to finish a book (much like Undeniable Desire, which I was stump in the middle on how to tie everything together), I outlined all the events that I wanted to be in the book and wrote each chapter (out of order) until something tied each chapter together and moved them wherever necessary. I'm really glad I use scrivener too since I can write separate chapters and simply move scenes/chapters around. The original storyline for Undeniable Desire wasn't always structured that way, but I am happy with how it turned out after moving certain scenes around.

(view spoiler)[I am currently working on Book 2 of my Undeniable Series. It follows the events of Book 1 (Undeniable Desire) but the narrator isn't the original (Kelsey). The new narrator is Kyle Majer, Zeki's daughter in Book 1. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[My most recent book, Undeniable Desire, was inspired by a character in Grey's Anatomy. I don't watch Grey's Anatomy religiously, but from time to time I binge watch it. There was an episode with Kyle Chandler who played a bomb squad guy (I don't know the technical term for what his role was, I call it a bomb technician in my book) but anyway I shipped him and Meridith but as you know (if you watched the show he died during the explosion).
Now how Undeniable Desire came about, I always wanted to write a story featuring a school counselor as the main character. I wanted to give my readers a humanistic perspective of school counselors (because we always think psychologists and counselors seem to have their shit together and therefore we expect them to listen to us and handle our shit. How do I know this? Because school counseling is my forte!
Anyway, I then put my main character (Kelsey) in a situation where she has her own demons to fight on a daily basis and prove that counselors like everyone are human too and make her sleep with her first one night stand (all the while in the middle of a divorce) and the rest is history. To be fair I initially planned on her ending up with bomb squad guy (Zeki Majer) but as I uncovered the relationship dynamics of Kelsey and her husband Gael, I felt just as conflicted as Kelsey was in choosing between both men in my story. Who does she end up with in the end and does Zeki survive or face the same faith as Kyle Chandler in Grey's Anatomy, you have to find out yourself! (hide spoiler)]
