i would buy 100 more books set in the world of rook and rose. do you have plans of returning to that world?
M.A. Carrick We'd love to do so at some point, yes! After all, we've poured so much detail into it; it seems a shame to use it for only three books (even long ones). There are some short stories out there now:

Apart from that, we do have some back-burner ideas that we'd love to try and tackle in novel form at some point. We'll definitely announce it on our site and newsletter if that happens!

I read Mask of Mirrors last year and loved it! I wanted to start reading Liar's Knot this week but found I'd forgotten so much of what was hinted at in the first few pages (Sedge's knot being cut, people finding out about Ren's poverty) that I could really use a better refresher than the short "What went before" I got. Is such a thing available anywhere? Or do I have to re-read book one?
M.A. Carrick We don't have a more detailed summary up anywhere, no -- the one in the book itself was limited by the space available. We did our best to make sure information like the details you mentioned gets introduced in a fashion that reminds you of the necessary context, but if you need more (or just want it in full sensory surround-sound, so to speak), then re-reading is probably your best bet -- I think even reviews that give a detailed plot summary don't generally get to that level of granularity. But hopefully a re-read won't be a hardship!
