I write anyway. I don’t plan on writing novels or novellas I just write when I get an idea, even if that idea is as basic as ‘a prince saved the princess with a kiss’. Sometimes I just get bored and think of what if’s and go “I gotta write that!”
You see, I don’t think writers’ block is a block of ideas like many assume; I think writers’ block is a block of novel worthy ideas. The throw away ideas, the basic stories, the ones you don’t think will work for 50,000 words, write them anyway. Maybe you’ll be surprised if not, hey you wrote something.

Knowing something I wrote is entertaining someone. Knowing my words, for the good or bad, are being read by people.

Finish something. I can not count the amount of products I abandoned halfway through writing because I decided the idea was bad or I was bored with it. If you don’t finish a book, you can’t revise it and if you can’t revise it, you can’t publish it.

I have no clue. As I’m sure most authors say, the ideas just appear sometimes and other times you stare at a blank page for hours and end up writing nothing.

I was watching West World with my dad and for some reason the intro song just made the idea come to me. That’s actually how Dolores got her name.
