Hi, Thank you for your very generous review, and for mentioning that you had messaged me on Goodreads. I didn't even know you could do that, and your comment prompted me to find out how. I'm almost superstitious about saying I think the case will be reopened, and I usually hedge on that question and just say I hope so, but the truth is that I do believe it will be reopened. I do not have the names of the people I believe killed Jon. What I was thinking when I asked Sandra was that I had a fairly detailed idea of the kind of thing that had happened and how to go about finding out. When Sandra saw, "Too dangerous," it was a moment of truth for me. I realized as I said in the book that if we pursued my theory, and even if we found out what happened, investigators at the time were not going to do anything about it. The evidence was so clear that Jon’s death was a homicide, and they had to know that and had done nothing about it, and we were rank amateurs. We were just going to get more people hurt and even killed. I do think many of the people involved with Jon’s death are still around, and now that time has passed, I believe this case can only be solved by a responsible, official investigating agency that takes the case seriously and has the skill and resources to pursue it honestly, thoroughly, and quietly, behind the scenes, with no public fanfare, as a matter of professional pride and integrity Thank you for asking.
