Depending on your definition of aspiring, my advice would be to finish and publish your work. Put a deadline on your project, package it up and share it. Learn and repeat, improving each time. But if you're not interested in publishing your work right now, just enjoy the act of writing!

If I am feeling mentally blocked, I get away from my desk and move around for a couple minutes. I pace around or do some pushups and then come back and start writing whatever thoughts are on my mind until I begin to focus again on the topic I am writing about. Mostly, I try to write my way through.
