There are a million things I could say to aspiring writers.
But I think the most important advice is: don't give up, keep writing even if you think you're writing is dull or not reader worthy.
You will only progress your writing if you ARE writing. Write, and write, and write. Writing (and reading other books similar to your genre) are a big step to learning. You got this :)
