Well. I think maybe just letting your creativity out and creating worlds that others hopefully like and get to enjoy with you. You pour your heart and soul into each book and then set it out into the world for others to hopefully love as much as you do.

Join an author community. There are all kinds of things that go hand in hand with writing a book and most of them you don't even think about or know about until it hits you in the face. The indie author community is amazing and really supportive to new and existing authors.

I have several things going. One is an antho shorty for Halloween which is off to edits now. As for what I'm writing: I have a 10 book collection written by 10 diff authors that I have book 4 in, I am working on the next book in the Indarian universe (it will be pretty dark but also...sexy space pirates haha), I also have a fantasy menage, and a dark dystopian rh going too.

Ha. I don't think there is any one way to deal with this. Typically I step away from it for a bit though. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it takes a bit.
