From Phoebe, the main character in my first book. I watched her take off on this adventure and it unfolded before me. Very exciting! My ideas are always quacking down the street-- I can hardly keep up.

My dreams are fantastic. I often travel to space, or wake up sweaty from some terrible battle with elevators traveling sideways to separate Universes, and so on. I have a poem on my website about goblins because I woke up knowing that I'd served as counsel for some beleaguered goblins. They needed someone to really listen. Not bad for a dream! Reading also inspires me. I am a voracious reader and always have been.

The second book in my When Gravity Waves trilogy. My first book, Say Hi 4 Me (When Gravity Waves) is an adventurous prequel in essence. Book 2, Are We There Yet? is a wild adventure on every possible front. It's fun! And will release soon.

Write first, get the ideas out. Finish the story without stopping for revision. Now you have something to improve upon, a gem to polish. Now you hone, craft, wrestle and sweat. Don't show it to anyone until you've run it through an AI grammar/spelling program. Seek beta readers and critique partners who also write, or at least enjoy your writing. Write often, make your story sing, draw your readers in with care. Writing is your gift to your readers, to those who enjoy sharing the unique world you create.

Discworld, no question about it. I have a feeling me and Vimes would be besties.

Starting yesterday, I am reading P.G. Wodehouse for the next few weeks, with a few space fantasy items thrown in for good measure.
