R.D. Wolfe I came up with the idea for Saving Olympus in 2002. I started writing it back then too and still have some early drafts of the first few chapters.

Based on some of the story points I have I know that I was heavily influenced by some games I've played in the past, as well as general interest in Greek mythology. So I'd have to say that's where it came from, but that's not all encompassing.
R.D. Wolfe Honestly writers block comes and goes for me but it hits me less when I'm writing regularly. So writing regularly seems to solve that problem. Don't forget just because you write it, doesn't mean you can't remove it or change it.
R.D. Wolfe Write.

With self publishing available, and the option to have unlimited pen names should something fail or you gain a bad reputation. Just start writing. Make sure you get a good editor or someone you trust to be objective to take a look, but just sit down and do it. Don't think you don't have XYZ lined up so you can't, just get out of your way and do it.
R.D. Wolfe Right now I'm working on book 2 in the trilogy. I'm hoping to get it finished by March, and available for readers in June.
