Just don't stop. Keep learning, keep writing, keep going forward.
Another piece of advice: Whether it's a hobby or the career you want to be doing, never let someone else tell you to stop or that there is some way to do things ONLY. There are always varieties of styles, types, genres, and ways of it. Every way of writing is valid!

I usually stop writing what I'm having the block on and move on to working on one of my other projects. If, for whatever reason, I can't work through them, I sit back, throw a movie on, and watch it. By letting my mind stop trying to think of the solution, it often finds the solution.

Currently, I'm working on several projects. Four editing projects to prepare for self-publishing. And two writing projects currently underway. One of those projects is a historical fiction novel likely to be in two parts and the other is a science fiction novel following in the veins of Aliens, with a bit of Starship Troopers thrown in.
