Kaylee Spring Hi Bruce!

Actually, I only ever planned to write 3 books in the Nude Artists Series. I always wanted to write about a painter, a writer, and a musician. I'm sure there are other artists I could write about, but those story lines came to me pretty naturally. Plus, I've currently got two other series in the works, so my head is pretty full with a whole new slew of characters.

Thanks for the kind words! You have no idea how uplifting it is to hear people say they enjoyed your books.
Kaylee Spring After a long day of writing, the woman stopped at the store for a bottle of wine. They were sold out.
Kaylee Spring I might be on the far end of the spectrum here, but I only write about 500 words a day in any given book. However, I am always writing at least 8 books at any given time. That's not a typo. Switching back and forth between stories gives the opportunity to simply sidestep and writer's block. If I can't think of where to go in one book, I'll start working on another. I'm constantly switching back and forth, and I think this has kept my writing brain flexible enough to get around most writer's blocks.
Kaylee Spring Do you know where the term 'cliche' comes from? It originates in French, meaning 'to click', and came about as an onomatopoeia from the sound a stereotype or electrotype used in a printing press made when hammering out an often-used phrase.

All this to say, aspiring writers should strive to be cliche. Not in their writing itself, but in their habits as writers. Just like the 'cliche' sound so often heard in a printing press, you should strive to make both your writing habits and your reading habits such a well-oiled machine that the clicking of your keyboard becomes cliche. It's what you do. You read and you write. All the time.
Kaylee Spring I'm currently finishing up my Nude Artists trilogy. I'm putting together the idea for my next series, which will be based on the theme 'Friends with Benefits'. And, of course, I'm always writing my sweet, sexy shorts, of which I release at least two a month on top of my novel-length releases. Always busy!
