It takes time to get used to being a writer - but it's one of the most incredible things in the world once you fully accept it. I was assigned to cover the "Boeremag" trial as an intern journalist in 2011. I started conducting interviews shortly after, knowing that this story had to become a book. I finally started writing the book in 2017 and after years of research, the story now lives between pages.
