I've had my nose stuck in a book ever since I was old enough to do so. I think I'd decided in first grade that a goal of mine was to eventually become a published author. Well, I don't know that I could call my life an inspiration, but certain events that have happened in my life are what led me to create "Damage Control." It was originally written as a way for me to come to terms with something traumatic I went through as a teen, but it slowly grew into its own thing. The characters really came alive, so I just kept going. I wanted to see where the story took me.

Just do it! Don't worry about all the typos and errors. Just get your story out, then seek help to touch it up, refine it, edit it, etc. Half of being a good author is being creative!
