Chris Tullbane Hi Abe! I'm happy to say that the audiobook for Agent of the Wild was submitted to Amazon/Audible for approval and review on the 31st of December. Unless something goes unexpectedly awry, that should mean it will be available sometime in the next ~10 or so days.

This one's a tiny bit shorter than Speaker of Tongues, but still a pretty hefty listen at ~25 hours. I really hope you enjoy it!

And thank you for the kind words about my dad. They are much appreciated.
Chris Tullbane It's being recorded right now, and should be live by the end of the year/start of 2026, assuming all goes well with Amazon's approval process!
Chris Tullbane Hi, Randy! Thank you so much! The plan is for there to be 3-4 more books in the series, starting with Dead Man's Favor in 2023. I see The Italian Screwjob as kind of the mid-point of the series... a lot of the disparate plot threads that have cropped up over the first four books will start coming together and building towards the series' climax.

Edit: ADMF is out as of Fall 2023. Godswar will follow in early 2026!

Thank you for reading!

Chris Tullbane Just write. If you're anything like me, you'll make every mistake there is when writing that first book, but practice is a hugely important component of improvement (despite what Allen Iverson might think).

There are a lot of people out there who are happy to say what you should or shouldn't do, and I agree that it's important to know the 'rules' of writing before you break them... but the most important thing is to just keep writing.
Chris Tullbane It's not all that hard to get inspired! I have a file folder of ideas that are just waiting to become stories.

Feedback always helps too. My wife reads everything I write, as I write it, and her enthusiasm is invaluable.
Chris Tullbane Being able to share the fruits of your creativity with the world! There are few things cooler than someone enjoying what you wrote and having their own imagination sparked as a result.
Chris Tullbane Updated for August, 2023:

I'm currently finishing up A Dead Man's Favor, book 5 of The Many Travails of John Smith, which will be released in September. After that, I will return to the portal fantasy I've been working on this year, as well as starting either the sequel to The Queen of Smiles or the series starter of my other (and third) post-Break series.
Chris Tullbane For me, writer's block is rarely an issue of not knowing what to write and more an indicator that something I've already written didn't work and is now bothering me. Once I've figured out what that is and addressed it, moving forward is easy.
