I first discovered this story when doing research to write the Kentville Ghost walk scripts for Valley Ghost Walks in 2012. Theresa's story stuck with me for years, and I kept thinking it would make a great novel. As a journalist, I write non-fiction, and report the news! I don't usually do creative writing! I decided to make the leap and wrote Theresa's story as a creative non-fiction in what you see today!
