Write one sentence.
I say this a lot. One sentence often leads to lots more words.
Don't overwhelm yourself when you have writer's block. Telling yourself you'll write 1000 words, or a whole chapter, when you are stuck is too much! Start with one sentence. Take a break if more does not come, then write one more. Repeat until you're past that block!

How interesting life becomes.
There is always something different to try, another path to walk down, a conversation around the corner, or a new idea that leads you somewhere you never expected.

Keep writing. One sentence at a time, if need be.
I can't tell you how many times people say, "I've always wanted to write a book." The statistics say only 1% actually do it.
Talking about it accomplishes nothing. It's just a dream at that point.
Once you write the first sentence, then the first paragraph, then your first chapter... now, suddenly you have something real and tangible. You have a beginning. That's when the dream starts to get a grip.
Keep writing!!!

I am working on a standalone in a world that I created in a previous book.

I am inspired by so many things!
A line in a song, a branch arching over a road, a single sentence in my head, etc. Imagination is unlimited potential, and I love exploring where things go when I write.

I love fantasy, but there are some things I find difficult to merge with my faith.
For my current WIP, I am incorporating the mythical dragon, using it as a metaphor for evil and how our flesh fights against what we know is good.
I try to be intentional about writing what everyone is reading but making sure a moral message is in all of my books.
When it comes to good vs evil, good always wins in my writing!
