Angeline Boulley There's so much advice out there. My advice about the advice is to listen only to that which resonates with you and let go of the rest. Trust your inner voice when something rings true.

Angeline Boulley My non-spoilery answer is that I grew up reading mysteries and thrillers, yet I never read a book with a Native American protagonist until I was a senior in high school. So I wanted to write the Indigenous Nancy Drew story I wished I had read growing up.
