Davida Ginter I get my inspiration from my current readers, from the people I work with, and mainly from observing the challenges that both myself and my connections are going through.

Challenges are opportunities to grow stronger, and in my writing - I try to process those moments of hardship and cultivate the beauty of this imperfection.
Davida Ginter Three years ago, I had a regular, day-to-day conversation with a colleague from the change-making field (we're both sustainability practitioners). We were wondering about the irony of people, our friends and colleagues, who care about everyone else - the planet, other people, entire communities - but forget to take care of themselves, and get burnt out.
We concluded with the sentence: "we don't have to suffer in order to reduce world suffering" and I thought that it's a great title for an article, maybe even a book...
This is how I strated to explore Changemakers' Burnout and "gave birth" to my recent book, "Burning Out Won't Get You There".
Davida Ginter Knowing that I'm making an impact - even if I don't know where, when and for whom. Part of the magic of writing books is that the feedback is not immediate, but when it is received - it's a wonderful reward.
