I am always working on my next book, which often begins as life experiences that engage my creative thinking and require me to think about our journey as 21st century humans in new ways. I then begin to develop my ideas through blog posts. I often tweet these posts to ascertain reader traffic and comments. This will help me understand how others may react to my newest ideas before I commit to the long and winding road as a full book project.

I lost my sister to stage IV lung cancer following her brave three-year battle against the disease. When she was in her final days of hospice care, a remarkable pastor visited our family and asked poignant questions of us -- questions that opened windows of insight and fostered healing. Those remarkable questions lead each chapter and contextualize my narrative.
