Now that I have accomplished my first children's book, I have ideas for more, though I am finding it hard to carve time out for this new passion. I am 5 years away from retiring from my regular job, and I also help my husband with work related to his scuba shop, but things are percolating. Sharing my husband's adventures with the scuba shop has inspired me to work on something for children on caring for our oceans and Earth, so I can't wait to see something take shape there!

When my daughter told me she was expecting a baby, we laughed and cried, hugging each other tight. Rebecca and her hubby Andrew told me the baby was just the size of a peppercorn, and I began to dream of all the things Grandma's dream about doing with all of their grand-babies. I almost immediately hatched an idea to create a personal children's book to gift to Rebecca and Andrew and my dear grand-daughter Sophie, and somewhere along the way I decided to have it published. It is 100% a work of love.
