I'm a journalist, so my life revolves around writing. Sometimes it's just being receptive to the characters. I can recall many times getting out of bed just to write down an idea or a piece of dialogue that popped into my head.

Tango Atlantica is something that has been on my mind for awhile and really, it came about by asking myself the question of "if you had to create a hurricane, or was forced to create a hurricane, how would you do it?" From there, it was really about doing research and following the bread crumbs, so to speak.
