Hi Matt, and thanks for that great question! My motivation for writing the book is to offer some inspiration and tools to students and young adults to help them contemplate and pursue their life goals while still having the advantage of youth. Though this is my motivation, the content of the book is relevant to readers of all ages. My most-senior reader is in her 70s, and she has also actioned the book's principles. I am confident that you will also find the book useful as well.

I just published the first edition of my first book. The audiobook is nearly finished. I am collecting feedback from readers of the first edition and am working to put out a second edition with some corrections and smaller substantive changes. From there, I will start thinking about another book, based on the feedback I receive and what people would like to read more about.

Like all things in life, you need a plan. A book is a large undertaking and you need to map out the journey before you begin. Books like, "You Must Write a Book" (Honorée Corder) and "On Writing" (Stephen King) are great reads to inspire some direction and overcome the fear of approaching such a large Endeavour.

The freedom to know that what I write can not be wrong, so long as I believe it.

Generally I take a break to rest my mind. If the block goes on for days on a topic, then I often move on to another topic. All of my writing starts off as bullet points, which I then elaborate on, so given a good outline, I generally find writer's block can be overcome by Googling the bullet point and seeking inspiration from around the web.
