In the past I used to deal with writers’ block by not writing at all. This would not be helpful to me at all because at a certain point frustration would hit and I would forsake all creativity. Now, I try to do something else that’s creative to help me get inspired; drawing, painting, or my favorite staring out of window. Lol, being blocked is hard, but I try not to force it away, but kind of ease though it.

This book has been in the works for more than two years. I began a working title the summer of 2017 and as time went on I began developing the theme. I knew that I wanted to capture the essence of journey through the phases of life and wonder so encapsulates life to me. We spend a lot of time trying to get through hard moments and life’s wilderness, that we can forget to marvel at what makes living so special.
