There are three ways to look at writing.
1. A glorious hobby, which you do in your spare time.
2. A business, marketing everything and making this a full-time job.
3. Finding a way to combine the two.
You will be discouraged. You will be sad. You will be questioned as to whether or not "this writing thing is worth it."
Don't fear that question. Just remember that if it truly is to you, that the misery will bring joy.

Walks, generally. Especially on a winter's day. But also getting "stuff done" helps a lot, like dishes and quick cleaning up.
