Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Anna Kensing Devilfish is pretty much a gay historical version of the tv show Supernatural but with a sea voyage instead of a road trip, vests and trousers instead of flannel and jeans, and steamy m/m shifter sex instead of implied UST. <spoiler> Also a matriarchal society of half-human/half-octopus shifters who may or may not be plotting to take over the world.</spoiler>
