The idea for my latest book actually came to me when I came across a homeless veteran this past summer. By the time we walked away, I had the basis of the novel down pat and quickly jotted down the storyline in Google Docs on my son's tablet while taking the bus home. My current book, the sequel, was inspired by a report I heard on the news earlier this year. I dropped what I was doing and knew I needed to write a sequel based around that true story. I find, as an author, you always need to keep your eyes and ears open. Inspiration, quite literally, comes from anywhere.

I am currently working on the second book of a contemporary romance series, "Midnight Awakening." My goal is to make this into a boxed ebook collection.
