Two main ways:
1. Set a timer for 15 minutes and just write anything and everyrthing until it buzzes. I can edit a bad paragraph, but not a non-existent one.
2. Outline. Instead of writing the actual book, I just write outlines of what will happen. "Sara goes there, gets in trouble, but escapes in a cool way". The writer's block usually go away when I outline a particularly nice scene.

I looked at myself in the mirror. It didn't look back.

A lot of different things. Everything from a scene in a movie to something I seen on the street. My main intentional inspirations are stories: fairy tales, folk lore, other urban fantasy, and my various tabletop RPG campaigns that I play in or DM.

Oooh, excellent question. A Galaxy Far, Far Away is certainly a contender, and I'd definitely like to be a Smuggler (Han Solo/Jyn Odan), a politician (Bail Organa/Padmé Amidala) or, of course, a Jedi.
If not AGFFA, then probably the Harry Potter-verse, where I'd like to either be a wand-maker or work with magical creatures.

Read a lot, and write a lot. Write badly if need be, but write.
There's a saying that goes something like "The only thing worse than a first draft is no draft at all", and I find that to be so very true. You can edit the living daylights out of a bad draft, but you can do nothing with a non-existent one.

I'm currently working on the final details of publishing my debut, Ett Glas efter Midnatt. Many of the finer points of publishing has crept up on me and taken me rathre by surprise: organising a release party, contacting book stores for signings and book purchases, etc etc.
Once all of that calms down and my books are in the safe hands of my readers, I'll go to work on the sequel to Ett Glas efter Midnatt.
