(view spoiler)[The idea for "Necessary Rebirths" came from realizing that my years of journaling contained channeled messages that brought light to some of the recurring falsehoods, fears, and thoughts that were preventing me from being happy in my life and reaching my fullest potential.
I had been going through lots of changes in my life in a short period of time, and I noticed there was a disconnect between the internal monologue and how I showed up in the world.
Rather than point fingers or get down on myself, I decided to commit to understanding what I was feeling and why I felt those things.
Each day, I'd ask myself questions about the emotions that were coming up, and before long, my streams of consciousness turned to wise and poignant notions that could not only help me; but also inspire and remind others of how to find balance and peace in this journey we call life.
There were a lot of pieces that didn't make there way in to the book, but I am proud and happy with the pieces that are contained within the pages of "necessary rebirths" -- and if its magic helps one person remember their "why" of life, then I've done my job. (hide spoiler)]

I usually sit with writer's block for a moment or two to see what it's trying to show me. Usually, it's anxiety that's come from taking on too many tasks at once and becoming paralyzed by the amount of work to do.
After I acknowledge the root cause, I take deep breaths, change the scenery of where I'm working if needed, and sit down to free-flow or journal.
That helps me with getting back on track.

I am a naturally curious person, so it doesn't take much for me to get inspired.
Whether I'm at home alone or out and about in the world, I enjoy sitting in silence and watching scenarios play out before my eyes. Depending on the what's going on, something usually sparks an idea of a story, a stanza; or an idea to build upon.
When you slow down, you'll notice how beautifully intricate our lives are -- and that alone is inspiring.

I'm currently working on a few projects: a play and a chapter book. I've had a surge of ideas come to me, and I often struggle with what project to build out next! I guess that's a good thing. :-)

Just keep writing; even if it's 15 minutes a day.
You don't have to write with a goal in mind, just get in the flow of creating and exploring because eventually, you'll find that your words have stitched themselves together without you having to lift a finger.

That I am never bored. I can use my imagination to create stories, dream scenarios, and inspirational content that resonates with people.
