Katie Berry There will be more about that mysterious ledger in future books. Both the CLAW and Lively Deadmarsh ABANDONED series are interconnected, and that ledger is part of the puzzle. Can't say more at this point, but thanks for asking!

Is CLAW's prequel series really over? Because the last book showed the start of new adventures.

Katie Berry No, it's just beginning. Much more to come with Kitty, Sandy and Doctor Brown! In addition, my upcoming novel, CLAW Resurrection, will answer more questions about the prequel and advance that story.

Thank you so much for your questions! Unfortunately, I can't answer them. And that is because there is a prequel to ABANDONED coming out, BESIEGED, next year. There is also a direct sequel, ABANDONED II: Continuum, the year after. There will be many answers to many questions in these novels. Please hang in there, and thanks for reading.

Katie Berry The satisfaction of telling a story and finding out that other people want to read and enjoy it as well.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Katie Berry Keep writing, it does get easier. Just keep putting one word in front of the other, like your feet and soon it will become second nature.

What are you currently working on?

Katie Berry My next novel, Abandoned: A Lively Deadmarsh Novel, will be released in the fall of 2020, It is a haunted resort hotel story set in an abandoned resort up the coast from Vancouver, BC called The Sinclair.
