Drink coffee, eat chocolate and if it still doesn't work I will watch a few movies, not even in the genre of book I'm writing. I will literally watch anything and nine times out of ten something will spark.
My other option that ALWAYS works is discussing my story with my husband. We bounce a few ideas around, I take what we discussed and create what I was looking for with it.

It is an incredible thing to get lost in another world as you read an incredible story.

You can not go into writing thinking it is easy, it takes HARD work and SO MANY long nights. But my goodness it's worth it.
